Not the usual psychological thriller... Bedfellows Series by Paul Casselle

"The action throughout the book kept me glued to it, and there were often times I was surprised by what happened next.
This is by no means a predictable book, so it is best to read the entire thing without trying to figure out what is going to happen. I makes for a edge of the seat read, and I even found myself holding my breath at times wondering what was going to happen." - Melba, Goodreads

As Mad As Hell

"Don't start reading unless you can snuggle up with coffee and a big chunk of time. I couldn't put it down." - Amazon.com Kindle Reader

As Mad as Hell is the second book in the 'Bedfellows thriller series'. It picks up the story where If The Bed Falls In left off!

The first book is a psychological thriller that begins the descent into the dark and criminal dealings of the international banks and corrupt national governments. A disgruntled MI6 agent wakes up to how 'The Few' are destroying all we hold dear, are accumulating everything of physical value on our planet, and are committed to enslaving humanity in a medieval feudal system.

This second book in the series, takes us so much deeper as we follow a rogue MI6 agent using every resource he can to hunt down the culprits behind the New World Order. But he is a man battling with his own internal demons as well as the One Percenters.

With the CIA, MI6 and the most powerful family in the world hot on his heels, he struggles to blow the lid off the 9/11 conspiracy, but stumbles across deep and frightening truths that are darker than even the most committed conspiracist would have believed. His carefully laid plans take him to New York, Johannesburg and London as the intricate plot slowly reveals itself.

WARNING: The faint hearted should turn away now. Only those who really want to dig deep into the lumpy broth of humanity should buy this book.

The third book, A Tale of Three Cities will be released in 2018.

GUEST POST
I hope I’m wrong!

There are many painful truths in life. Over the last few years, and more recently in Central Europe and England, we have witnessed increasing incidents of urban terrorism resulting in the devastating loss of innocent lives. At times this may feel too big to face head-on. So, we might choose to avoid the pain by closing our eyes tightly. Maybe we hope that with time things will resolve themselves. Maybe we are hoping that someone else will solve the problem. Or maybe we are simply hoping that we are blowing things out of proportion; getting reality wrong.

Sometimes this strategy works. Time does heal, other people can be very effective, and we do have a propensity to get our perspectives in a twist. However, much of the time I believe we are experiencing what Grocho Marx said about second marriages; the triumph of hope over experience.

Furthermore, reality is big, really big (much like Douglas Adams’ description of the universe), reality is the biggest thing there is. Simply because it is everything. So, to believe that somehow we can side-step it, is pure folly. The novelist and economic theorist Ayn Rand wrote;

“We can ignore reality, but we cannot ignore the consequences of ignoring reality.”

Reality is not only big, and in the end seemingly inexorable, it is also a very slippery customer. For years I believed in the existence of objective truth. In spite of our handicap of only ever being able to see reality subjectively, the objective truth does exist; doesn’t it? Well, apparently not. Quantum Physics is proving time and time again that observed reality is actually subjective.

Bear with me. It would seem that before a conscious observer looks at reality, all that exists are possibilities; in fact every possible possibility! Only when something is observed does this possibility cloud collapse into a single position, particle or manifestation.

Therefore, how are we to trust anything? Our fear and lack of moral fibre causes us to bury our heads in the sand, and even if we confront it straight on, it morphs and shimmers in front of us. So what can we do; if anything?
Well, firstly I threw in Quantum Physics as a bit of a red herring. I played around with reality, time and Quantum Physics in my recent science-fiction thriller The Unforgiving Minute. It was fun to put Quantum Physics and a murder thriller into the same room together, but in truth we really don’t need to worry about such effects on a day to day basis. We are so much bigger than the sub-atomic world that these effects are simply not evident in our reality. So that just leaves our personal intelligence, will and courage to investigate as best we can what is really happening and then deciding what we are going to do about it.

For many years I have been studying the facts behind the many popular conspiracy theories; 9/11, the London and Boston bombings and our roller-coaster economy. What I learnt chilled me to the bone, and led me to start writing my thriller series. I wanted as many people as possible to know the true facts behind current world events, so, as well as the thriller series I wrote the non-fiction book New World Order? No Way Out? and have made it FREE to download from Amazon and other book outlets.

The fiction series starts with the psychological thriller If The Bed Falls In, moves onto the deeper conspiracies (especially 9/11) with a ‘Mission Impossible’ type second book As Mad as Hell, then later this year I will be writing book three. A Tale of Three Cities which will be a ‘Da Vinci Code’ type thriller that pieces together the possibility of the real evil power coming from secret global organisations such as the Illuminati and the Freemasons.

For now, the evidence seems overwhelming that we are being led towards a precipice that can only end in a devastating reorganisation of our society, great hardship and millions of deaths. The details that led me to these conclusions are laid out as entertaining fiction in my thrillers, but beneath the thrills I am truly concerned for our future.

By getting these ideas (and facts) out there, I hope we can all rise to the challenges we are facing. My fear is that we will shut our eyes tightly, and when we open them again, it will be too late. This is one possible reality that I hope I have got totally wrong.

About the author:
I live in Spain with 3 Labradors, 2 children & 1 girlfriend.

Moving to Spain gave me the impetus I needed to finish Conversations with Eric. The warm climate caused me to move the second half of the novel here as well.

I love telling a compelling story that will both intrigue and excite my readers. I want to take you to places that will exhilarate as well as entertain. I’m never shy about sailing near the edge. The unusual is my normal and jaw-dropping surprising my stock-in-trade.

I am currently writing a new psychological thriller called, If The Bed Falls In. I hope to complete the novel by December 2015. If you liked Conversations with Eric, watch out, If The Bed Falls In will knock your socks off!
